4. Reading the Results

After a scan completes, results appear in two areas: the summary counts at the top, and the page table below.

4.1. Summary counts

After a scan completes, five summary counters appear at the top of the results. Each gives you an instant count of pages by access status:

Total

Total number of pages found in the space

Restricted

Pages that have at least one explicit restriction set

Has Access

Pages where the selected user or group has explicit access. Shows 0 when no user or group is searched.

No Access

Pages where the selected user or group is explicitly excluded. Shows 0 when no user or group is searched.

Open

Pages with no restrictions, accessible to everyone with space access

4.2. Page table columns

Page

Page title with hierarchy, child pages are indented under their parent. Click the arrow to expand or collapse. Click the page title to open it in a new tab.

User Name - View

Green = user has view access. Red = user is excluded from viewing. Question mark '?' = restrictions unreadable.

User Name - Edit

Green = user has edit access. Red = user is excluded from editing. Question mark '?' = restrictions unreadable.

Other Viewers

Other users or groups with explicit view restrictions on this page.

Other Editors

Other users or groups with explicit edit restrictions on this page.

If no user or group is searched, the table shows only the "page," "other viewers," and "other editors" columns. When searched, columns for these individuals' view and edit permissions appear.

A dash (-) in the Other Viewers or Other Editors column means no one beyond the searched individuals has view or edit permissions.

4.3 Page hierarchy

Pages appear in their natural Confluence hierarchy. Use the expand/collapse arrows to navigate parent and child pages. Selecting a parent's checkbox includes its child pages in the bulk operation, regardless of their selection.
